AMETIC with its compromise of supporting and promoting Spanish broadcasting companies coordinates the Spanish participation at NAB, which will be held in Las Vegas, from the 8th to the 11th April. AMETIC will be present in the most important trade fair for broadcasting industries, thanks to ICEX -Spain Trade and Investment- that supports the Spanish participation at this event. 
In this edition there will be five new companies participating at NAB, increasing in 23% both the number of total Spanish exhibitors – in this edition 24 - as well as the total floor accounting 818 sqm. This is a record breaking participation comparing the floor booked by Spanish companies in previous editions.
As a result of participating at NAB, last year Spanish companies signed contracts valued at 23M €. Moreover, during the exhibition they made 2,750 contacts which 1,700 were new potential clients. Most of its visitors came from Latin-America, USA and Canada although there were other ones coming from Middle East, Australia and South East Asia. Spanish companies during NAB ranked their commercial contacts of a very high importance. These are some good reasons to take part in which is considered the appointment of the year.
NAB is the fair trade where Spanish broadcasting companies show their last novelties. Products and solutions result of betting heavily for innovation, improved client targeted tools and optimized designs which permit a better equipment performance.
In 2012, NAB accounted more than 1,600 exhibitors and 92,000 visitors. That represents a 5% increase compared to last edition. Of the total amount of visitors, more than 24,800 were international from 151 different countries.
